Detailed Inspections

Detailed Inspections require the apparatus to be opened up so they must be isolated.

These are usually planned events linked to Plant Shutdowns and can be scheduled every 2 to 5 years, depending upon the process and factory policy.

All new equipment has to undergo a detailed inspection.

Detail Inspection will not only involve visual and close inspections but will also requirs functional tests on features like earth resistance, flame-path measurement, purge system pressure, flow & timing checks and checks that any Exe motor circuit protection will operate within pre-defined time periods and settings.
